There are many physiological and psychological benefits to exercise, but many of us do not participate in enough regular exercise to improve and maintain our health and well-being. How many times have you decided to begin a new exercise regimen but drop out within the first few months, failing to adopt a healthy and physical active lifestyle? There are many reasons why this happens. Lack of motivation, lack of social support, no time, no structure, unrealistic goals, lack of knowledge, confidence and convenience.

There is a distinction between training and coaching. The structure of training is mostly directive and focuses primarily on physical change.

 

Coaching is all about understanding first, then empowering individuals through self-discovery and self-exploration so they can overcome their emotional or physical barriers to healthier behaviors.

 

It encourages the client to be more engaged as coaching is a collaborative and explorative effort between client and trainer. My coaching methods enhances the relevance and value of the services I provide as a personal trainer.

As a Personal Trainer, my clients successes are not only accredited to my training methods but my ability to guide them through the process of change. This change process is often difficult initially but by being a strong positive motivator and understanding what fitness improvements each client hopes to achieve, together we are able to set goals that are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely (known as SMART goals), and I am able to coach them every step of the way.

Unlike conventional personal trainers, this is not just a job to me, I have a genuine passion and love for fitness. I am driven by the ability to be able to effect positive change in people's lives. I am able to enhance my clients' potential for success through behavior change coaching. The future of training is evolving beyond fitness.

Many of my clients have different reasons for taking up personal training. Some even thought they did not need it until they had the experience. Some of them have been regular gym goers with no real results. Others are individuals who have not participated in any exercise activity for years and did not know where to begin. Some due to health related issues, and the older population to increase mobility.

Is your goal to lose weight, gain weight, increase energy, combat stress and anxiety, increase strength, build muscle, improve athletic performance, rehabilitation following an injury, or improve overall health and fitness? My programs are effectively tailored to each individual client and goal. I offer one-on-one training sessions, partner sessions or small group sessions. 

 

One of the unique benefits of my personal training service is that I make it convenient for you. I offer a mobile personal training service. I train my clients in their home gyms, office gyms, apartment complex gyms, garages, local parks, or any other available workout space.

 

I also offer virtual training/coaching which is personal training delivered via video (i.e. Zoom, WhatsApp, FaceTime). This is convenient for those who are away from home, traveling, or located outside of my service radius.
